Children's National serves as the regional referral center for pediatric emergency, trauma, cancer, cardiac, and critical care as well as neonatology, orthopaedic surgery, neurology, and neurosurgery. The Telemedicine Program at Children's National provides distance learning and more than 1,000 consultations annually to regional and international providers. Our experts also train the next generation of pediatric healthcare professionals by training more than 200 residents and fellows annually.

With an internationally recognized team of pediatric healthcare and research professionals, Children's has one of the top federally funded pediatric research centers in the country. Children's National is home to the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation and is home to the only Clinical and Translational Science Award led by a pediatric hospital.

Children's National Health System provides an excellent benefits package focused on meeting the needs of our growing workforce. Below is a brief summary of the benefits we offer. Specific plan information is available from the Human Resources department. Benefits are available to employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week in a benefits budgeted position.
