We are currently seeking a skilled Systems Integration Specialist within our corporate ATI organization supporting our Specialty Materials business unit. While this (hybrid) role supports multiple locations and facilities, it will be based out of our Monroe, North Carolina location and report to the Manager of Digital Technology. This exciting role will lead digital transformation through advanced process technology and data management in a world-class manufacturing company in support of operational and strategic business goals!

In order to become successful, you will have to quickly develop a strong understanding of the systems and technologies that enable the plant to operate effectively, and identify, develop, and implement solutions that will continue to improve effectiveness and efficiency. As a Systems Integration Specialist, you'll work collaboratively with your digital technology team members and engage directly with operations, maintenance, quality, engineering, material & logistics and finance to assure the accuracy, timeliness, and adequacy of the data.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, develop, and implement integration solutions to connect diverse software systems, from Level 1 through Level 4.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand integration needs and gather detailed requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Create and maintain APIs to facilitate data exchange between systems, enabling real-time communication and automation.
  • Define data mapping and transformation rules to ensure data consistency and accuracy during integration processes.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate the functionality and reliability of integrated systems, addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Implement monitoring tools and processes to proactively identify and resolve integration-related problems, ensuring system uptime and performance.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, from IT, Development, and User community.
  • Create, configure, and update data flows, specifications, and OT data collection.
  • Develop interface specifications for MES to connect with external and IoT systems.
  • Drive strategic and capital projects involving database administration.
  • Communicate the status of the work, progress and obstacles while working with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in systems integration, including high speed data collection and data center experience, and experience with programming languages commonly used for integration (e.g. OracleDB, SQL)

OR, in lieu of a Bachelor's degree:

  • A High School Diploma or GED required
  • 9+ years of experience in systems integration, including high speed data collection and data center experience, and experience with programming languages commonly used for integration (e.g. OracleDB, SQL)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Azure Cloud and Cloud migration
  • Experience with Wonderware software
