GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Product Support Specialist supports the FTS Product Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Securities Product platform including annuities, UIT, Structured Products, Fixed Income, Plan Business, Managed Money and Insurance. The PSS will conduct due diligence reviews and data analytics, provide reporting and analysis, as part of the overall product framework.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete product due diligence reviews for product set noted above.
  • Responsible for the creation and execution of product launch plans in coordination with business partners and key stakeholders.
  • Assist with the coordination with product company, asset managers and vendors on FTS initiatives and product enhancements.
  • Compile and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities and risks for product set noted above.
  • Assist with the implementation of new products, trading platforms, systems, and strategies.
  • Assist in the development and coordination of field training for new products and product initiatives
  • Aide in the updating current compliance procedures.
  • Coordinate with compliance and vendors on submission of product partner materials
  • Assist with field communication on product and rate changes
  • Coordinate escalated case issues with compliance, operations, and product partners as needed
  • Assemble and disseminate reports to key stakeholders on product set noted above.
  • Assist the FTS Product Manager with the monthly, quarterly, and annual product analysis and due diligence, as required by product type, to ensure regulatory compliance and internal requirements are being satisfied.
  • Serve as a resource to the field for client service questions on product set noted above.
  • The Product Support Specialist will work directly with the Compliance group to respond to any regulatory and/or internal audit requests.
  • Assist in the planning of the annual FTS Educational Summit.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, advanced degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of investment and operational experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent excel skill set knowledge
  • In depth working knowledge of investment products.
  • Required Series 7 and 66 4, 24, and Life and Health preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature, and the like.
  • Extended viewing of CRT screen.
