We are currently seeking a Roadway Engineer to join our Midwest Transportation team. This can be a remote role for the right candidate, but prior experience with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform roadway design for ODOT projects (intersection improvements, roundabouts, roadway widening and realignment, interstate widening, and rehab, etc.)
  • Develop project scopes/budgets
  • Opportunity to develop relationships with client to win new business
  • Provide plan review and project management for clients
  • Responsible for organizing activities, schedules, and reporting in support of assigned projects
  • Travel will be required as needed

The successful candidate will have all of the following:

  • A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • A valid driver's license/clean MVR
  • Engineer in Training (EIT)

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

  • Roadway design experience, specifically for ODOT projects using ORD
  • ODOT plan development experience
  • MOT design experience
  • Drainage design experience
  • Roundabout design experience
  • A PE license in Ohio
