Job Summary
Fishbeck is seeking an entry-level or experienced Revit Technician to join our mechanical department. The technician will work on various sized projects under the guidance of a lead engineer or project manager. Qualified candidates should have the ability to prepare mechanical drawings from a graphics standpoint and aid with mechanical design.
Primary Functions
  • Work closely with lead mechanical engineers to prepare mechanical 2D and 3D layouts and design drawings that meet client, Fishbeck, and industry standards.
  • Set up models and drawings, manage graphics associated with project deliverables, and coordinate the printing/plotting document distribution process.
  • Interact daily with multi-disciplinary and multi-office teams within Fishbeck and with other consultants to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
Minimum Physical Requirements
Exposed to occasional lifting and carrying. Will have normal office working conditions and be required to sit and use a computer. Capable of traveling to and maneuvering around project sites for attending client and project meetings and site observations. Able to use various technical equipment for communication and documentation. Visual acuity necessary to perform responsibilities.
Desired Education/Licensure
Associate's degree in Drafting or Engineering Technology
Desired Skills/Experience
  • Experience working within Revit.
  • Previous experience with mechanical design and drafting.
  • Strong communication skills.
