Examples of Intern - Engineering Daily Activities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Support the implementation of new processes and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process requirements are met.
  • Assist in troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Position Specific Requirements:

  • Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate Engineering degree program. Preference given to students located within 50 miles of the assigned Olin location.
  • Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
  • Ability to work full time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) May - August 2024. Not eligible for virtual work
  • Must have completed sophomore year prior to first assignment with Olin.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work/student visa.
  • A Valid US Driver's license is required.
