To provide resources, support, and advocacy for women as they pursue their individual and collective goals; to enrich the University community by providing a forum for women's cultural, intellectual, social, aesthetic, and spiritual lives; to make manifest the University's commitment to maintaining a campus climate in which women receive equal access, just treatment, and opportunities to utilize their talents to their fullest and most meaningful extent.

At Lakeland’s Women’s Center, our mission is to encourage and support women in their quest for quality education, economic opportunity, and community involvement. We seek to advance women in all academic programs, with special emphasis on the high demand fields of healthcare and engineering.

The Miami University Women's Center facilitates women's full participation and success as students and as global citizens through educational programs, leadership opportunities, support, and advocacy services that foster engagement with women's and gender issues and enhance women's personal and professional development.

The mission of the Ohio University Women's Center is to act as a catalyst to promote awareness, education, and advocacy about women, gender, and diversity, among faculty, staff, and students at Ohio University and its surrounding communities.

The YWCA is the oldest and largest multicultural women's organization in the world. Across the globe, we have more than 25 million members in 106 countries, including 2.6 million members and participants in 300 local associations in the United States. More important than the numbers, is our mission to eliminate racism and empower women. We provide safe places for women and girls, build strong women leaders, and advocate for women's rights and civil rights in Congress.
