The mission of the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. is to improve the quality of life within our communities and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans.

The Asian/Hispanic/Native American Center (AHNA), the youngest cultural center at Wright State University, was created in the Fall of 1997 to support the academic, social, and cultural needs of Asian, Hispanic, and Native American students, faculty and staff at the University. It also serves as an informational resource center regarding the Asian, Hispanic, Native American experience and creates an appreciation and understanding of the diverse Asian, Hispanic, and Native American cultures represented within the community. The Fifth Street YMCA was opened on New Year’s Day in 1928. This facility played a vital role for a number of years in then thriving Fifth Street Business District. Built to service black, the YMCA was home to a number of now prominent African Americans. In fact, it is this facility that The Dayton Urban League was born. As The Dayton Urban League works to move its clients into the 21st Century, it is fitting that it should work to do it in what is truly its home.

The Mission of the Greater Dayton Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1992, is to promote the continued development and growth of the Hispanic business community in the Miami Valley region. To offer our members an opportunity to network and develop beneficial relationships with both the public and private sectors. To advocate for the entire Hispanic community in our region.

The Hispanic Business Student Association (HBSA) promotes the educational and professional careers of its members with an emphasis on the Hispanic minority population at The Ohio State University. Members are encouraged to become future leaders in the business world. Inspiring guest speakers, from the public and private sector, are invited to present. Companies, organizations and individuals host workshops which are designed to address educational issues, business trends, and career opportunities relating to Hispanics.

The NAACP is the oldest and largest civil rights organization in the United States. The mission of the NAACP is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic quality of rights of all persons, and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.

The Multicultural Center is a place to learn from each other, feel more connected, and enrich the broader community.

The Multicultural Center serves as a place where cultural teaching and learning are the focus of all programs and activities. Its focus is intercultural, and provides a place where members of the university community, representing a variety of backgrounds, participate in programs and activities. All programming for the Center is designed to increase human understanding through the study and expression of culture.
